Financial Reporting

From taking dues to selling merchandise and everything in between, MTP is ready to help you collect, track, invoice, and audit all of the money that comes into your local.  Need to cut a check to a member from a vacation fund or other expense? MTP has you covered with receivables and payables.  Over our years of serving hundreds of locals, training centers, district councils, and international unions, there isn’t much we haven’t seen or added to MTP.

Data You Can Use

From the moment a member joins as an apprentice to the time of the member’s retirement and beyond, MTP tracks everything.  It can even link up to your Health and Welfare system to provide you and your members basic information on the things you need to know. 

MTP also offers complete and secure cloud-based backups to insure that the data you can use is always available.

MTP on the Go

Members, union hall employees, and contractors can use either the MTP Mobile App or the website to pay dues via credit card to the local, check balances and payment history, check their skills, classes, work on monthly apprentice reports, register for class, update contact information, check referral lists, add themselves to the referral list, check work hours, and much more!

Grievance Tracking

INCOM is partnering with the leader in Grievance Tracking, Union Built PC, by embedding their product in MTP’s applicaiton’s workspace and in our Web App! In the same way, Union Built PC offers MTP’s full functionality and capabilities from their app, too!

Grievance Manager offers custom form and process design, with context sensitive forms and pending deadline alerts per case.

The applications are designed to streamline and “crack-proof” the appeal process, and to offer powerful tools for case research and multi-factor comparative group reporting to reveal patterns.

COVID-19 Response

MTP has and will continue to be an essential tool during the COVID-19 crisis as follows:

  • Designed Dues Relief programs using the specifications from both International and Local affiliates;

  • Permitted users to work remotely and members to maintain their dues and member information remotely;

  • Facilitated the distribution of emergency relief checks to affected members;

  • Provided swift two-way communications by text, robo-calls, and emails to inform members of worksite closures, meeting and class cancellations;

  • Kept members up to date on both local, national and international concerns;

  • In March 2020, our users’ MTP communications to members included:

    • over 126,000 robo-calls completed;

    • over 450,000 text messages sent;

    • over 97,000 emails sent.

Member Mobilization & Political Tracking

MTP’s CRM features can be used to communicate with members, apprentices, and students by robo-call, text, email, and special messages in your MTP App.

All of your communication is tracked on the MTP Dashboard and found on the member page. You can also send an old-school mail merge letter out to members or students using MTP.  

Using our political tracking features, MTP can identify members in voting districts and mobilize them to vote and support endorsed candidates and issues.  MTP will help you strive for 100% member participation in all your union’s efforts.

Phone System Access/Integrated Voice Recognition (IVR)

MTP lets your members call the office and access MTP from their phone. Members can:

Training Centers & JATC

MTP Training Software offers a fully functional training system with custom online apprentice applications, creation and integration of virtual (online) courses, mobile access to class and course registration, class schedules, grades, certifications, skills, monthly apprentice reports, reporting work hours, tracking training hours, skills, test-taking, certifications, user defined customized certificates, progression of wage and demerit tracking, skills cards, virtual training, user defined web apprenticeship applications, and much  more. Fighting IRAP

MTP users delivered a swift response to help win the IRAP battle with two-way communication as follows: 154,739 texts with links to comment sections sent; 40,210 emails sent; customers posted special messages using their MTP Mobile App, and INCOM-posted pop-up notifications about IRAP for members, agents, and contractors in the MTP Mobile App.

The responses provided by members were an important part of preventing implementation of rules that would have been detrimental to union apprenticeship programs and the quality of trained construction workers in general.
